Health Trainer Classic Treadmill- A Review

The best part about this treadmill is its price- $ 799.00. Yes that is actual cost price. However, that is not all. If you check out different shops online, you might come across some discounts too. Isn't this unbelievable? However, don't celebrate just yet. Check out the configuration that it has to offer before you start rejoicing.

Motor: The motor of this treadmill is a continuous duty motor which churns out only 2.25 HP. This is nothing to boast of but that is what you would get in a less than $ 1000 deal. The speeds churned out are in the range of 0.6 to 10 mph. apart from that, the incline range is from 0 to 10. The motor can get a bit noisy though.

Frame: The frame is a single-weld steel frame. It comes with the usual powder coat finish and is nice to look at. Apart from the weight of rollers, motor, the electronic displays and others, it can support another 275 lbs of user weight. The frame can be folded away easily for the purpose of storage.

Running Deck: The running deck holds a two-ply track belt whose dimensions are 52"X18". Due to this you might feel constrained a bit when walking or running.

Control panel and Display: The controls for speed and incline are mounted on the hand-rail. Similarly, the EKG heart rate unit is also mounted on the handrails. Hence, you do not need to bend over in front to adjust them.

The display unit is a four window LED unit which provides you with the basic information which you need-distance, speed, time, calories, heart rate and so on.

There are 9 pre-set workout patterns in this machine. These include six custom program types and one each for warm up, cardio and fat burn. You can use them in any way you want to get the desired results.

Warranty: When it comes to warranty it seems that it comes with a generous amount of warranty vis-à-vis its price tag. The frame has a life time warranty. The motor comes with a 15 year warranty. However, there is just 1 year warranty on parts and labor. Despite that, it seems that the user get value for such a cheaply priced treadmill.

Conclusion:
There is not much to be said about this treadmill. Those who have a shoestring budget for treadmills can go ahead and buy it. However, this should not be your first priority if your budget is less than $1000. Check out for more handsome deals in the market. You can easily find a better treadmill (like the Epic 800 MX) at highly discounted price. However, make a price and feature comparison just before you buy.
