Treadmill Reviews

Body Solid Endurance T3i Treadmill- Performance at a Reasonable Price

When the Endurance T3i was first selling for close to $1,200 experts criticized the pricing as unwarranted because there were many other treadmills with similar features that sold for $800 to $900. Accepting the criticism, the price of the T3i was revised to $999 and is now available at that price in some select stores.

The best part of the Endurance line of treadmills is the warranty; all parts of the treadmills are covered for a lifetime. For a treadmill costing a thousand dollars, the deal on the T3i is hard to beat.

Apart from the warranty, however, the T3i does not offer any outstanding features but at this price range that seems to be passable. The running zone, at 18" x 50", is way too short and narrow for running. Even light jogging seems to be out of bounds for tall users. Even though the maximum user weight capacity is a good 275 lbs, this treadmill is essentially for walking purposes only. All the good reviews about the T3i should be taken in the context of walking.

The motor is a strong 2.2 HP Continuous Duty and 6.6 HP Peak Duty, which can easily take care of fast and heavy strides. The motor is well protected by PWM technology to ensure that performance is hitch-free. The treadmill can work up speeds up to 10 mph and elevate up to 12% to simulate uphill walking.

The frame of the T3i is made of heavy gauge welded steel that ensures that users do not experience vibration and jarring during intense workouts. The deck is well equipped with a multipoint shock absorption system that protects the joints of the body from the impact of heavy strides. The shock absorption is not exceptional or as impressive as some of the higher priced treadmills, but is more than beneficial for walkers. The rollers in the belt mechanism are large in diameter that helps immensely in reducing wear and tear.

Heart rate control is not available in this model but there are 5 good built-in workout programs to challenge the users and help them achieve weight loss or stay in shape without the need of paying gym fees.

Since the Endurance T3i treadmill is a walking treadmill, users can save good money on account of the lifelong warranty that comes with it. You can go for it if you need assurance of near zero running costs.
